Stonehenge Goes to Eleven

It appears we’ve been around long enough for the pop culture references to reference themselves. Stonehenge, the mass audition for film and video, will have its eleventh edition on Sunday, June 6th in Baltimore. Registration for both actors and filmmakers is open now.

Once again, we are at the Creative Alliance’s most excellent digs at the Patterson in Baltimore. For first-time attendees and even folks who haven’t attended Stonehenge in the past year or so, please check out the information and FAQ for actors or filmmakers–depending on whether you’re auditioning or watching the auditions respectively.

We’ll be highlighting some specific topics filmmakers and actors in the next few weeks. In the meantime, remember: registration for actors ends May 22nd–and while registration for filmmakers lasts until June 2nd, the price doubles on May 21st. Don’t delay.

47 Resumes Required for Stonehenge

Remember how we said this was the biggest Stonehenge ever? Remember how we constantly say plan on at least 50 resumes? Well, it turns out this time you need 47. Remember, you need that number of resumes properly formatted or you DON’T AUDITION. See the actor’s FAQ for details.

Stonehenge X Registration is Open!

In case you haven’t ambled over to our Stonehenge section, Stonehenge registration is now open for filmmakers and actors. The event goes down on Sunday, March 28 at a brand new location in Washington, DC: CDIA in Georgetown.

Of course, as often happens, we’ve updated some of the FAQs for both Actors and Filmmakers–including a new video release for those actors that want us to tape them at this event.

Remember, there are no walk-ins for either actors or filmmakers. Everyone needs to register beforehand. So if you know any actors who might be interested, they have until Saturday 3/13 to register. Filmmakers have until 3/24 to register, but their price to attend doubles on Friday, 3/12. Let your friends know!

And by the way, Stonehenge 9 videos added

Unless you were one of the actors who got videotaped, one of the filmmakers who attended, or one of our growing list of YouTube subscribers, you probably didn’t know the Stonehenge 9 videos have been added to our YouTube channel:

http://www.youtube.com/stonehengeauditions

Clever name, huh?

We would also be remiss if we didn’t mention that the all the videos have been viewed over 37,000 times, with over 5,000 visits to the channel itself. Not heady numbers if we were trying to be a viral phenomenon, but good for casting purposes. Now the folks from September’s Stonehenge 9 are part of that mix.

Kudos again to all the actors who came out. Here’s hoping you’re getting gigs.

Filmmaker Registration Closed, Headshot number is 24

Filmmaker registration for Stonehenge IX has closed. Close to 50 filmmakers from about 19 different production companies will be attending.

The second confirmation for actors will be sent out tomorrow (Thursday) with adjustments made for cancellations. However, we can tell you already that the “magic” number of headshots is 24.

We look forward to seeing you all on Sunday.
